The wedding is a week away! Holy cow!! It's finally here! I can hardly believe it! We've been so busy that it's snuck up on us! It will be so nice to finally be able to be together all the time and not have to drive home at night. That's the worst part of this engaged state of life. Things are so good for us. We are so happy! We hope that you all will share in our wonderful day!

Happy Turkey Day!
So, today was the first Thanksgiving Caleb and I have been a couple. But today took me back to last Thanksgiving. I had met Caleb 2 days before, and then I went to Idaho. I got back in town that night, and I decided to go dancing. One of my ex's called wanting to go (making the evening somewhat awkward) and I went. Caleb was there, and we got to talk more. I was starting to see at least a good friendship out of him, and potential for more. Then our friend Reggie invited us to his house for pie. We all say yes, and I realize that Caleb was going to drive himself. So, I offer to give him a ride to Reggie's and we have a great time. I dropped flirty hints to Caleb, and he asked me for my number that night. It was a good night. I love the fact that he and I have certain memories with holidays. We can always remember them.
Today was good. We had dinner with his family, and we are starting to get settled in our place too. It's so fun! I can't wait until the whole saying goodbye at night thing is over, because he makes me laugh so much that I never want to leave his company.

So it's sinking in now...
We've got 16 days left to go, and its sinking in now. We started moving some of our things into our new place, and we are starting to actually feel it coming. We've been engaged so long that it's always felt so far away! Now it's finally here! YaY! Caleb called me his wife one time, and it felt so right, and so cool. I love the fact that I get to be a wife and a mother now. For a long time I never really felt that I would get a chance to be on this road in life. I was determined that I was destined to be the next Sheri Dew. Wonderful woman who just never found the right man. Then Caleb came into my life, and has changed everything in the best way possible. I would never want to change how things have turned out for us. He tells me that I'm the best thing that came out of him moving to Utah, and that makes me feel really good, because he's had a lot of wonderful things happen to him since he moved here. He's in a career now, and he's happy at his job. Yeah, there are frustrating things, but he really likes it. He's in a great ward with a wonderful bishop. He's got some really great friends here too. True friends that will stick with him no matter what. But I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life with this wonderful man. He's truly the most wonderful man I could have asked for in a husband. He's always looking out for my well being and for others too.

Friends
We have the most supporting group of friends we could have ever asked for. They truly have been amazing through all the good and the bad of this last year. It's so funny, I was talking to a good friend today, and the support they were giving Caleb and I overwhelmed me so much. I was literally crying, because of the support of this individual. Each and every one of our friends have had a turn in doing that. They are all phenomenal and inspiring. Our families are just as supportive. We are truly such lucky people to have so many people who love and care about us. I'm going to start crying again. We can never thank you all enough for everything you do!
With All Our Love,
The Mickeys

22 days, Bridal Showers and More Trials
So, I had my bridal showers this last week. They were so much fun, and we got so many wonderful and useful things! We are truly greatful for everyones generosity. It's finally sinking in to us that we are getting married, and its just making us more excited! We are ready to start our life together.
Trials come in many shapes and forms. This year has been very stressful on us, and Satan has been trying to stop our union the whole time. Without the comfort of the Lord, we really wouldn't have made it to the point where our wedding was actually going to happen. We have many more trials to face together as a couple, but we are ready for them, and are willing to work together no matter what. We will get to the temple as soon as we can.

43 Days and Stressing!
I don't want to cry anymore. I feel like all I do is cry anymore. Caleb is nothing but comforting and supportive of everything that is going on. It's just more proof to me that he really is the man I'm supposed to be with. He understands why I act certain ways, and knows what to do to make me feel better without even realizing it. Sometimes it's just holding me while I cry. He's the only person outside of my family I've truly been comfortable crying around, that's a man. I have a few close friends that are girls that I can cry around, but in general I hate crying. He just helps me not feel weak when I cry, and I love him for that. He truly is my other half.

Sick
So, Caleb and I have taken turns being sick. Caleb had it first, and now I've had it the last few days. We've just been laying low for a few days, trying to get better, so hopefully we didn't get anyone else sick in the process.
Yesterday, my family took me out on an additional bridal shoot, so that there were pictures in fall leaves. It was good, and we found some great ones up by Sundance. They were so pretty! It will be so gorgeous!

79 days and counting
It finally feels like it's coming! We've been engaged for so long, and changed our date so many times, that it finally feels like it's actually happening. We are mostly ready for the wedding. We just have the last minute details to take care of, and then we are on our way! We still need to figure out where we are going to live after the wedding, and make sure all of our guests will have somewhere to stay. The rest is finalizing. WoW! We're getting married! It's so exciting! It's less than three months! I can't wait! Caleb is excited and nervous at the same time, because life is going to be so different, but so wonderful at the same time. Now only if time would fly even faster.
I love this lyric from a song. "Eternity won't seem that long cause time will fly, when it's you and I together." ~Wedding Song by Colors That's how things really feel with Caleb. It feels like so much has happened in this last year, but it has totally flown by. I'm looking forward to being with Caleb forever and a day. I can't wait!

Puppies
So, Caleb's mom has 4 shitzu puppies, and they are so cute! There's Poppet, Petal, Prestley, and Prissy. They are so fun to have around! They get all excited whenever I come over to see and visit with Caleb and his parents. I have to take turns holding all of them and letting them know that I care that they are there. It's fun. Prissy and Prestley are mini shitzus. Prissy is the smallest, but cutest and sweetest dog I've ever been around. Kathie has also decided she wants to breed them, so I asked her to breed me a little Prissy of my own. Prestley is adorable too! He's got a little buddah belley, and the cutest face! Poppet is really sweet. She just likes to come join you for a minute and then she'll be on her way to fight with her sister. Petal is just a little attention starved little thing, but you can't help to love her.
The thing is, I used to not be a fan of small dogs, because my thought was, "If you're going to have something that small, you might as well have a cat." But, I have officially been converted to a small dog fan, and that makes Caleb happy, because he wants a dog once we are married. I'm okay with that now.

Labor Day at Melba's Cabin
So, for Labor Day weekend, Caleb and I went with my entire extended family on my mom's side, (The Bell Clan) to Aunt Melba's cabin up in Island Park, ID. It was so nice for us to go and just relax. We arrived there late Friday night, and we were back home Monday afternoon. Saturday was lots of fun. Caleb went crazy on the jet skis, while I lounged on the beach. (I wasn't feeling to great, so I decided to not ride.) He had lots of fun, and I got a nap! :D Sunday was very relaxing as we played games and just relaxed some more. I got Caleb hooked on a card game called Dumb Luck. He loves it so much we taught some friends how to play last night! Monday we just packed up and came home. Its about a six hour drive from here, so we left there by nine.
It was a really great weekend to see Caleb with my family having a good time! He and my little brother got quite close this weekend. It was great to see. We just hope that next year we aren't on the counch or the floor! ;)
