Sick

So, Caleb and I have taken turns being sick. Caleb had it first, and now I've had it the last few days. We've just been laying low for a few days, trying to get better, so hopefully we didn't get anyone else sick in the process.
Yesterday, my family took me out on an additional bridal shoot, so that there were pictures in fall leaves. It was good, and we found some great ones up by Sundance. They were so pretty! It will be so gorgeous!

79 days and counting

It finally feels like it's coming! We've been engaged for so long, and changed our date so many times, that it finally feels like it's actually happening. We are mostly ready for the wedding. We just have the last minute details to take care of, and then we are on our way! We still need to figure out where we are going to live after the wedding, and make sure all of our guests will have somewhere to stay. The rest is finalizing. WoW! We're getting married! It's so exciting! It's less than three months! I can't wait! Caleb is excited and nervous at the same time, because life is going to be so different, but so wonderful at the same time. Now only if time would fly even faster.

It feels like so much has happened in this last year, but it has totally flown by. I'm looking forward to being with Caleb forever and a day. I can't wait!

Puppies

So, Caleb's mom has 4 shitzu puppies, and they are so cute! There's Poppet, Petal, Prestley, and Prissy. They are so fun to have around! They get all excited whenever I come over to see and visit with Caleb and his parents. I have to take turns holding all of them and letting them know that I care that they are there. It's fun. Prissy and Prestley are mini shitzus. Prissy is the smallest, but cutest and sweetest dog I've ever been around. Kathie has also decided she wants to breed them, so I asked her to breed me a little Prissy of my own. Prestley is adorable too! He's got a little buddah belley, and the cutest face! Poppet is really sweet. She just likes to come join you for a minute and then she'll be on her way to fight with her sister. Petal is just a little attention starved little thing, but you can't help to love her.
The thing is, I used to not be a fan of small dogs, because my thought was, "If you're going to have something that small, you might as well have a cat." But, I have officially been converted to a small dog fan, and that makes Caleb happy, because he wants a dog once we are married. I'm okay with that now.

Labor Day at Melba's Cabin

So, for Labor Day weekend, Caleb and I went with my entire extended family on my mom's side, (The Bell Clan) to Aunt Melba's cabin up in Island Park, ID. It was so nice for us to go and just relax. We arrived there late Friday night, and we were back home Monday afternoon. Saturday was lots of fun. Caleb went crazy on the jet skis, while I lounged on the beach. (I wasn't feeling to great, so I decided to not ride.) He had lots of fun, and I got a nap! :D Sunday was very relaxing as we played games and just relaxed some more. I got Caleb hooked on a card game called Dumb Luck. He loves it so much we taught some friends how to play last night! Monday we just packed up and came home. Its about a six hour drive from here, so we left there by nine.
It was a really great weekend to see Caleb with my family having a good time! He and my little brother got quite close this weekend. It was great to see. We just hope that next year we aren't on the counch or the floor! ;)
